Public comment period closed + draft report
Hi all,
The public comment period on the 2018 RIR IANA performance Matrix has now closed.
I have not seen any comments come in. German, can you please confirm that this is the case?
As per German’s mail, the next IANA RC teleconference will take place on Tuesday 5th March 2019 12:00 PM UTC
Louie and Juan, you volunteered to update and prepare the draft 2018 report. Thank you again for that. Could I ask that you circulate that draft to the RC list week before our meeting, by Tuesday 26 February? That way the group gets ample time to review it before we meet to finalise the report. Thank you.

Last year we agreed that there should be a place on the web site where we publicly post comments, and in the absence of comments indicate that we had none in the place were they would normally be posted.

I suggest we set the date of the report as 02/26 anticipating we will adopt the draft in our meeting, and if not bump the date to when we adopt it.

The draft report looks fine to me. I can see that a few links will need to be turned into URLs but that is a minor detail. And the RIR Matrix fits a lot better than last year! :)
I ask everyone to read the draft report if you haven’t already done so, so that we all know whether or not we are ready to publish it.

Thanks for the draft report.
Overall it looks good to me. I have only two comments as below:
1. Totally formatting related: I have read the pdf version. Pages 2-3, Section 2.4 displays some of the names darker than the others. I do not think this is intentional. Final version can benefit from a fix.
2. Minor content related: Section 3.3.2 sounds a bit funny, now that we did not have received any public comments. I believe this is a side-effect of having a pre-agreed template text for the report. I suggest we make the following change. But I can live without it if the change will mean our publishing time should be extended further. In other words, I only suggest the following change if it can be agreed and done very quickly during the call in 15 minutes:
Change:
"3.3.2. Community input on RIR IANA Numbering services review Matrix The raw comments received from the RIR communities on the RIR IANA Numbering services review Matrix can be found in Appendix 2. The IANA Review Committee would like to note that no comments were received in the public comment period."
To:

1. Totally formatting related: I have read the pdf version. Pages 2-3, Section 2.4 displays some of the names darker than the others. I do not think this is intentional. Final version can benefit from a fix.
