Hi Nurani, all
Hope this message finds you well. Thank you Nurani for the agenda for tomorrow and the proposed work-plan for the rest of the year. Regarding the latter, scanning through the minutes of 2017, I saw that last year March meeting was schedule during the ICANN meeting. As a newbie in the RC and as a participant in ICANN64, having a similar arrangement would be a great opportunity to meet you all (or most of you) in person. Can we spare a couple of minutes tomorrow to discuss the possibility of a formal RC, or even an informal RC gathering during ICANN64? - I personally prefer the second option. An "after-office" is always a better icebreaker :)

Thanks for your mail and your suggestion to meet during the ICANN meeting.
The IANA RC charter states that "The Review Committee will meet entirely via teleconference for its activities”. And although we conducted the meeting last year at the ICANN meeting in essence as a telephone conference but with some members physically in the same room, I feel it is better to avoid this format in the future to avoid confusion.
Our experience is also that it is not ideal to schedule these meetings at the ICANN meetings and we concluded that the RC should avoid doing so in the future. I’m happy to explain this a little more during the telephone conference today!
Having said that, I do think it is always good to use the opportunities we have to meet physically. So I really like your idea of an informal “after-office” for those present at ICANN. This is a very good suggestion. Let’s explore this during our call under AOB.
