Dear Filiz,

Thank you. I'd like to highlight to this committee and the community the extensive work that you had put into the initial draft of our annual report. The report we see today is largely due to your contribution and effort.

Dear Filiz,

Thank you so much for your valuable contributions to this group in the important first years.

Having chaired this group the first years and relying on the committee members to lay the foundation for this committee’s work, I truly appreciated your active and constructive role from the start.

As you say, the IANA stewardship transition was a significant milestone and the work of the IANA RC is key in managing the new relationships between IANA and the RIRs. I personally feel like we have done a good job in this group, leaving a solid process and framework for the future RCs. You were fundamental in creating the framework for this group’s work and have continued to carry the work forward.

You will be missed!

Thanks again,
Nurani

I always saw IANA stewardship transition process as a very important milestone in the Internet eco-system we work within and especially from the Numbers Community point of view. Once the transition was completed, I had the privilege to work within the committee following its inception and help with the new processes and procedures to get it going.

In particular, it was wonderful to witness how RIR Staff worked together with the RIR community members in order to ensure the new processes and format put in place were monitored well and in fact functioning towards operational excellence while internal processes in doing so were kept extremely transparent too. For that too, I am extremely proud of this committee.
