German,

Did you get notification of two comments? The changes made appear to be lost and want to confirm if you can see them or not. If you can see the questions I tagged you in that should be our working version.

Thanks

Do you or Tommy have any other ideas pending Marty’s response to this one?

Thanks

John,

It appears that in the Summary Report, German cut and paste the entirety of the matrix PDF, which is scaled to print on a Standard 8x11 page. Is it acceptable to simply add an image of the tables themselves without the header and footer? It makes the text a bit larger and easier to read. I am sure Tommy can get a cleaner version of the image, but I wanted to show you what I  meant to see if it would be an acceptable solution.

Thanks,

Hollis

Here is the report with the matrix added in, what they didn’t like is all the white space on that page for the matrix and would like to have it removed so that the bottom footer on that page is not so far removed from the last bit of text. Again let me know if you need anything further. Thanks.

Hi Martin and RC

I’m attaching a new version with changes control activated so it’s clear what is updated:

  • RIR Members
  • All URLs are verified, (some are now shorter URLs)
  • Some changes based on the three transactions between IANA and the RIRs
  • No comments were received this year, so the report is reflecting this fact.

For your review.

Regards

German

Hi German,

Not sure how we want to collaborate, but here's a draft.

- This is a difficult read; I've boiled down somewhat while maintaining original content

- Reduced to 11th grade reading level so far, but still too high for public consumption

- Needs confirmation

-- RIR members

-- URL's are still relevant and active

-- What should we really call this report so that it is clear as to what it is?

- Inserted current matrix; however can we get rid of the white space so it will format better?

Thanks all

Warm regards,

Dear RC

This is reminder that the 2021 IANA Performance Matrix Summary Report should be ready for review by this committee at the meeting scheduled on Monday 24 January 2022.

Last year Matrix can be found at

https://www.nro.net/wp-content/uploads/2020-RIR-IANA-summary-report.pdf

For this year summary report all information can be found at

https://www.iana.org/performance/numbers

At the last call Martin Hannigan volunteered  to draft the first version. I couldn’t find an editable file for this template but I remember John Sweeting sent the 2020 version on pdf.

The purpose is to send a call for public comments before a final report can be drafted by the committee.

As reference last year public call for comments can be found at

https://www.nro.net/call-for-public-comments-on-the-2020-iana-performance-matrix-summary-report/

The secretariat will share an updated version before the 24 January call for your review.

If you need any support from the secretariat just let us know

Regards

German
