The APNIC engineering team are interested to know how IANA calculates their DNS server availability metrics. Do we have any details about this?

Hello All,
ARIN’s COMMs team has together the attached matrix. We probably need to discuss how we wish to show the rDNS SLAs that were not met in the first 2 months. We can discuss on the next call or share thoughts on this thread.
Thanks,
John S.

Subject: [IANA-RC] IANA Inverse Resolution Services Added to the IANA SLA
Dear RC
In November 2024, the NRO EC and the IANA signed an amendment to include the inverse resolution services into the SLA document
Please see the below document for the details.
These include the IP6.ARPA and IN-ADDR.ARPA zones
IANA was able to provide reports of the availability and propagation time of the inverse DNS in April 2025.
Please consider this new metric and if it should be included in the coming 2025 report.
Kind regards
